"It was great to see the antiques in Venice - without living in one! Neil's apartment was built in 2003 so everything is modern and works properly. Great location! We were always happy to get back to the apartment. It's away from the crowds, on a small canal and very relaxing. "Hotel was very convenient for traveling to and from main island of Venice with the vaporetto service. Giudecca is a quieter island overall but close enough to Venice (maybe a 10 minute trip). A bit pricey, but understood with the close location. There are still some nice restaurants within walking distance."
