Gigaro - 2 bedroom farmhouse with sea view

In the heart of the Mas de Gigaro estate, this two-storey semi-detached farmhouse opposite the communal swimming pool features a bright living room with open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen, opening onto a lovely terrace with sea views.
At the entrance to the farmhouse, on the first level, you will find 2 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes (1 with a double bed, 1 with 2 single beds), as well as two shower rooms with toilets, one of which has a window. Numbered free parking space. Free wi-fi. Access to the farmhouse down ten or so steps.

Enclosed, secure estate covering 40 hectares with a communal swimming pool from June to September (€10/person/week + €50 deposit; free for children under 7), 4 tennis courts (€100 deposit then access for €40/week on reservation) and a club house.

Optional linen hire: €20 double bed, €10 single bed, €8 set of 2 towels including bath mat and tea towels.

The farmhouse is located 1.6km from the Gigaro beach with its sandy beaches, its coastal path and sea path, its restaurants and mini-market (bakery and international press area); from the Collebasse pass, Ramatuelle is 10mn away, the beaches of l'Escalet less than 15mn and those of Pampelonne 20mn away.

Dreamhouse with some downsides...

House in beautiful Provencal style with a fantastic location and a fantastic sea view. The swimming pool directly behind the house is also excellent and is kept extremely clean by the lifeguard who is always present and is very friendly. The agency support directly on site in the clubhouse is also always very friendly and helpful. The house itself, however, is in need of renovation in one place or another. In our opinion, the electrical installation urgently needs to be checked because there have been several short circuits. There is also no air conditioning, which is urgently needed in the bedrooms on the upper floor. Furthermore, the garden furniture is not of good quality. The house is not recommended for older people or babies and small children, partly because of the stairs, but above all because of the unbearable heat on the upper floor due to the lack of air conditioning. Unfortunately, this is why it only gets 4 out of 5 stars, although we would have liked to give more.
