Great location, amazing food nearby and temple next door. Nice view from the 3rd floor (don’t feel boxed in like cities). Very polite and English friendly staff. Two combination units for washer+dryer so we could do 2 loads at once.

Great place to stay, in the heart of Gion district, beautiful streets, train station around the corner , just close to everything. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, the room was on the small size but otherwise perfect, had all the necessary items available and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Gion, really close to the subway station and super classy area full of bars and restaurants! Only downside is compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan the facilities were not as great, no vending machine etc. Would definitely stay here again when we are back on Kyoto

Small clean hotel in an excellent area for tourists. Very close to the historic streets where you can try to glimpse geisha. Staff were kind and helpful. Just a small comment that if you need to do laundry, the dryer is not very effective, and it took me 2 hours to dry a small load (costs 100 yen per 30 minutes of drying).
