"The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The historical past of the building is evident in its grandeur. We felt like VIPs instead of simply tourists. The breakfast included a good variety of western and eastern tastes. The surrounding neighborhood contained an exciting mix of Shanghai's colonial history and the new, burgeoning China. The only downside to the location is that it's not close to neither the highspeed train station nor the airport. But this inconvenience was easily forgiven once walked around the community."

"It is in great location. We booked this hotel because it has a tennis court. Unfotunately that court is not operated by the hotel and we have to walk in to book the court and pay 400yuan per hour for the count. Facility is great! Location is also convenient by taxing Didi."
