"The room is kind of old but the breakfast included is nice. There was mistake that I can't get the family room which I reserved when I check in at the hotel. Over all is a good place to stay a night."

"Easy to find in the middle of Kulmbach's central park. 7 minutes walk to a beautiful city centre. On a busy road, but very quiet once you're through the front door. Old fashioned, but we love old fashioned. Owner speaks perfect English. His family have owned the hotel for 140 years. (His suggestions for restaurants were both excellent.) The breakfast room has newly been updated. Breakfast really good with local produce. They have a guests' after-hours bar which we made full use of. Very handy...
"Nice place and worked well even if staff were on vacation (only staff was someone fixing breakfast). Positive was several parking places.
Only negative was the narrow beads placed almost in the middle of the room (but if you don't move, you don't fall out of bed). "
"Die Zimmer waren 3 km vom Hotel entfernt und zum Frühstück mussten wir jeden Tag mit dem Auto zum Haupthaus fahren. Die bewohnten Zimmer sind wohl zuletzt um ca. 1980 möbliert worden. Durch die veraltete Einrichtung stellte sich kein Wohlgefühl ein. Die Betten, Bad und WC waren sauber aber das Ambiente vermittelte Unsauberkeit.
