"Lovely room — a little small for two people, but perfectly adequate for what we needed for a weekend stay. Just be aware that the toilet wall is practically see-through, so there’s very little privacy. The location is fantastic, with transport links within minutes."

"Lovely hotel. Staff extremely, friendly and very helpful. Superb location, just around the corner from the high street, with lots of good shops, bakeries, small supermarket. Lovely places to eat, especially for breakfast. Didn't take to long to walk from and to the train station. Around a 20 minute walk to the inner harbour along the river. There is a lovely restaurant there, Köpi Wirtshaus Duisburg. We would stay here again and recommend this hotel"

"This was a bargain! Clean modern hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. especially liked the open plan breakfast area which was complementary with wide choice of food. There was also food available at different times of the day. Well situated in the city. Parking was an extra €20 per 24 hour period which was a bit steep but reasonable compared with other hotels in the area. Would book this hotel again."

"Wonderful location and lovely spacious and clean room. Staff friendly. Communication wasn’t always timely through the Expedia app messaging, but very helpful when they eventually answered. Shame room didn’t have more windows or a bright light in the centre on the room, as was very, very dark. But overall and great stay for our needs."

"The most professional, kind, welcoming and helpful front desk staff I had over three week stay in Europe. We stayed in several hotels and met many customer service people . No where was as amazing as this hotel’s staff - very helpful, didn’t seem cranky about having to speak in English, and very accommodating."

"Right overlooking essen hbf so super convenient. Friendly staff with easy check in. Nice and quiet which surprised me considering how close to train station. Well maintained room and property. One of the best premier inns stayed in."
