"Cheerful, efficient and helpful staff. The housekeeping staff kept the room clean and provided fresh sheets every day. Coffee bar was replenished every day. The front office staff were cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in and check-out accomplished within 5 minutes. Breakfast spread was sufficiently comprehensive. Just need to replenish finished items promptly during peak period. Good spread of bread, pastries and kuih kuih. The hotel could do with 24-hour room service for late arriving guests. It was a very pleasant 4-day stay at this hotel. "

"Nice spacious rooms and good views over the sea. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight negatives was tgat the bars clided at 10pm which is a littke early, and some of the "hot" breakfast items were not kept that hot. But overall thoroughly recommend the Grandis when staying in Kota Kibabalu and we would not hesitate to stay again."

"Nice upscale hotel, very close to restaurants, shopping mall and convenient store. Room was nice and big but all rooms are not the same sizes. Breakfast was perfect, not too much food that people waste and enough different varieties to ensure you dont get bored with the same food, and no long waits to get your food. Grab is easy to get to costing approx 30MYR from the airport. Room was nice and clean and i couldnt have asked for anything better. Gym is on the 3rd floor but its outside and is owned by someone else. The elevators can take a day or two to get use to as breakfast is not available from all lifts. The hotel staff are very good especially those on reception and the staff for breakfast, Roaush (i dont think i got his name right) new staff and only been there for 3 months and the hotel has trained him really well, just shows how much attention the hotel has put on achieving the best for its guest. No problem recommend to friends and family. "
