"We stayed here for 8 nights while in Hawaii to get married and honeymoon. The OUTRIGGER was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Room was large, had a nice view, grounds were well maintained with trails, beautiful flowers, and two pools. Would not hesitate to stay here again. - hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and accommodated everything we needed. They also treated us very well as newlyweds and made us feel special. Cindy went above and beyond on this. - pool bar was reasonable and Kevin was great - the gift shop was reasonably priced and good service - the PIKO restaurant is another story. The only thing worse than the WAY overpriced, mediocre food was the dismissive, grumpy, hostile staff working there. Eat at the pool bar or go offsite. - be aware that on top of what you’ve already paid and/or the advertised price they are going to charge you $35/day as a “resort fee” plus $30/day for parking plus a variety of taxes. Worked out to about an additional $80/day in unexpected fees on top of the advertised room rates. - overall wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. And aside from restaurant staff, all other staff were just exceptional and above and beyond, and made for a wonderful honeymoon. - while on the island we explored in both directions, and the OUTRIGGER seems perfectly placed to check out all the highlights."

"The accommodations were wonderful. The space is in the process of being renovated; however, the few cosmetic issues being addressed did not take away from the experience. The bedrooms, as well as upstairs living, dining and full kitchen exceeded our expectations. Everything was well stocked with linens, towels, cooking items and even things like a rice pot, blender, and small cooler. We would definitely recommend this property. There is a short walk from the parking structure and I would note that there are stairs that might pose a challenge for older guest with walking limitations. That being said, very roomy and great for families."

"A little private slice of Hawaiian heaven! This home is perfect for a family looking to enjoy the island. Beautifully manicured property with a perfect pool to enjoy while enjoying the Hawaiian coast scenery. The house was stocked with all the essentials you need to enjoy your stay plus all beach supplies to venture out. There were even thoughtful children’s items for play, sleep, and pool safety & fun. It was a perfect stay and for our whole family to come together and we’re already discussing our next visit. Thank you! "
