"The office staff were very helpful and it only a short walk up the road to the Main Street were there were 4 or 5 choices for dinner"

"Check in was not the normal easy experience as we have had before, it seemed as though they were going thru some teething problems. Chicken sandwich for dinner was over cooked, and the cheese they used (chedder?) not very nice. Bed was on it's last legs, will stay again as we like the hotel, it's location and great buffet breakfast."

"Way beyond expectations. We booked with the expectation of a room with a view. We were delighted with the private penthouse suite. Better and bigger than our apartment. It had not one but two rooms with a magnificent view of Devonport wharf and Waitemata harbour."

"Its the worst place i have ever stayed in. Payed for 4 nights left after 1 night. Would like a refund. Its so dirty and smells terrible.l have a lung condition ans could not breathe. Previous peoples rubbish still there plus no clean towels or kitchen cloths. Bedside lamp had no shade and a broken off prong on the plug. Kitchen chairs where fillfy dirty as where the bed covers. Cupboards musty. Toilet paper in the carpark and up the tree. No other roomso offered to clean . Noway could a clean get that smell out. No one at reception, have to ring a number to get the safe number to get your key. Just as well i had a friend with a phone. I left mine back in Australia.i could go on but i think you should have the idea."
