That said, the setting is so remarkable that food becomes a secondary concern — you’re too busy soaking in the beauty around you. There was one room service staff member who seemed consistently grumpy, but in a way it became a bit of a running joke for us — it added character to the place rather than taking anything away. From start to finish, the experience was flawless, deeply inspiring, and unlike any other. Check-in process was good, the welcome drink was refreshing and perfect for a hot day, and their cookies at the reception was delicious. The room was clean, spacious and welcoming. They provided us with a bag that was really useful for bringing to the pool or beach. Service from the housekeeping team was prompt and easy, all requests can be made via their app. There were more than enough loungers by the pool and they have floats available for lounging in the pool as well.
