"We were a large family group renting the property for a week for a reunion. Beautiful, high-design property - tip top shape. Everyone enjoyed the pool, sauna and playground. Adults stayed in the main house and teenagers/young adults in the pool house. Lots of different spaces to gather and also escape for some quiet time. Some wonderful restaurants nearby."

"Das Haus ist ideal für eine Familie mit 2-3 Kindern. Dank des grosszügigen Umschwungs ist viel Platz für diverse Spiele vorhanden. Da das Landstück eingezäunt ist, kann auch ein Hund frei laufen gelassen werden. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt."

"We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Paar kleine puntjes. Netheid van het huis met name woonkamer en keuken was niet goed. Verder waren de douches vrijwel koud."

"I loved the house - it was in a great location, close to the beach and to the very pretty town. I had not realised before I booked that De Haan was a conservation area and that the buildings in the town centre down almost to the beach were protected. It was a joy to walk around the local area."

Lovely stay

"Excellent service and communication pre-check in. Nice lobby area and tasty breakfast. We had the top floor room which was quite hot, but we slept with the windows open and were comfortable. Recommend! "

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ghent by IHG

"Second stay in this hotel; comfy modern rooms (USB C!) and easy access to ev charging and major transport routes on our journey brought us back. Last time the breakfast wasn’t brilliant, it was school holidays and very busy, so breakfast area was cramped and options were lean; this time, there was plenty of choice, and as midweek holiday makers we missed early business traffic, so there were no queues for the coffee machines etc. Maybe they could put more staff on to help keep the dining area stocked and clear when it’s busy? It looks like there is some building work happening on site, maybe a larger dining space is in the works?! We took an Uber into Ghent centre for a lovely meal at Du Progres, hotel was convenient and we felt could leave our car charging in safety. 1.5 hours by car to Le Shuttle. Ghent is nearly as pretty as Bruges, and as a lively university town it feels less touristy and full of hen/stag dos!"
