One of the eye-catchers on the air show was the Ukrainian Sukhoi Su-27.
The Su-27 (NATO code name ‘Flanker’) is an amazingly agile interceptor that is among the best of the world in dogfighting, despite its impressive size. It was developed during the 1980s in what was then the Soviet-Union in response to American fighters like the F-15, F-16 and F-18. The SU-27 is the pride of the Ukrainian air force, a country that is part of the ‘Partnership for Peace’ with NATO and is as such also a partner to the Belgian air force.

"The apartment does not correspond in numerous essential points to the equipment stated in the description: The studio (?) has only around 30 to 40m2 (60m2 are stated), there is no kitchen, no working TV, no tumble dryer, the washing machine may only be operated by the landlady. There is also no closet (only an open "wardrobe" in a kind of storage room), there is only one small side table, only one bedside table and generally no bedside lamps, no hairdryer in the bathroom. "Perfect location if you want to be near the city centre. Short walk from the train station as well. Very friendly staff. Nice size rooms with comfortable beds. They also have bikes available to rent by the day if you want to venture further away. Breakfast buffet has an ample assortment for every taste bud. It’s our go-to hotel every time in Eindhoven! "

"Absolutely amazing stay. We asked for a room near the pool and was upgraded, free of charge. We really enjoyed our stay and the room was perfect, as too was the pool. Breakfast was a sheer delight and the food was very delicious. Overall - Excellent."

"Great property with pleasant view of the forests in Eindhoven. Excellent buffet breakfast. 10 minute walk or a few minutes drive to the airport. Only problem is no laundry on site, so you will have to either give it to the front desk for next day pick-up or go to a laundromat in the city."
