"This is an excellent hotel. It is a fairly typical modern mid range hotel in itself, but seems to be better maintained and run than most. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed and checked in by a chap called Andrew, who was also around at breakfast the following morning, working very hard and looking like he knew exactly what he was doing. "Lovely staff, friendly people. Huge carpark, reasonably priced bar. Comfy bed, loads of hot water and an actual bath! Close to town but lots of green around the hotel. Always first choice to stay here when we're visiting family in Boro"

"Lovely stay - fast check in, great lunch in the restaurant and an even better breakfast was had. We got a b&b deal through Expedia which included a full continental breakfast for starters and then a hot meal. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had the full English. Very nice setting and outlook. Only downside is that the room gets very hot - had to use the fan all night. And then there were some noisy occupants above us who decided to put tv on around 2am!!"
