"My husband and I stayed with our three young daughters and it was absolutely wonderful!! The house is lovely, clean and so comfortable and has everything you need. We loved playing all the games that are provided. And the location is completely peaceful and quiet. It was so fun to fish off the dock. We hadn’t even left and my kids were asking when we could come back!"

"This hotel is in a beautiful location, between the St, Mary's and Potomac rivers, on a narrow strip of land. Sunrise and sunset over the water are both spectacular. The rooms are very comfortable, and could probably use an upgrade at some point, but the rates are so affordable that this is a great and inexpensive getaway. The Ruddy Duck restaurant and bar next door is also delightful and reasonably priced. This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway less than 2 hours from DC!"

"we have stayed here more than once but this time we were not happy the pool wasn't open, they said it was under repairs, this should have been told to me when I called and I asked about the pool and they said yes, we have a pool, they should have said yes, we have a pool but its not open, not right, we will probably not stay there next year on our way to va beach, sad to say"
