"We needed a stop on a cross country trip, and found this little gem. A lovely listed Georgian house with a very nice garden. The owner was very welcoming, the room was lovely and the breakfast delicious! We'll certainly go again."

"Absolutely beautiful house, great location, lovely pleasant staff delicious breakfast Stairs a little steep to the attic but all added to the experience of staying in such a beautiful stone house. We will come back here in a heartbeat although we will stay in one of the much bigger luxurious rooms below next time. "

"Really nice place and will stay again. Only there for a short time. Comfy bed and very peaceful. Monday night, food last orders at 6:45 due to early close. Excellent breakfast!!! "

"Stayed here before a track event at Donington and honestly it is one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in. Beverley is a wonderful host and from the moment she greeted us was full of advice, and tips to make our stay more comfortable. The bed was so comfortable I crashed out and didn’t stir at all. "There was a power outage overnight the first night we stayed here. Upon realizing that in the morning, because there was no hot water, I tried to contact the manager. It took over an hour for her to respond and all she could tell me was that she couldn't get ahold of her handyman. After 2 hours of waiting with no update from the handyman, we left. I asked for a refund but was refused and I was accused of causing the power outage because I must have plugged in a North American device. This...

"Can't review hotel as never actually stayed there as they relocated us to another hotel saying it would meet our booking which was family room for 2 and breakfast, what we got was a single room with double bed and no breakfast, so spent weekend sleeping with my 40year old daughter with no breakfast not what was planned. They did refund £20 which was used for taxis because it was so far from where we needed to be."

"Did not get room that paid for. Room that we were given had dirty carpet dirty and not been vaccumed. Room had broken room window held open (heat wave in England) with piece of wood. Fab hotel and location

"Wonderful Hotel super views great room and sumptuous dinner. Breakfast was a little disappointing after a great dinner only one chef running a full buffet style breakfast with overdone bacon and sausages dried out under the hot service lights I had to ask for fresh everything as there wasn’t eggs mushrooms tomatoes or fried bread "

"Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Breakfast provided offered a wide range of choice. Full English breakfast was very good. The accommodation was more than adequate and was spacious and freshly clean. The only criticism is the lack of a lift to the rooms. Having to carry travel luggage up the stairs and down again on check out, without staff assistance, could be difficult for some. "
