"No shampoo in the dispenser. turned on the heat and the fan ran all night. Only 2 packa of coffee, 1 decaf, 1 regular. Disappointing!"

"Clean room, great view of the water and will be back."

"We had a great stay here. We've stayed at other Howard Johnson properties and I think this was the best one. Stylish room, immaculately clean room and front office, and a nice comfy bed. We appreciated the free coffee machine in the office and the many pamphlets and guides to the city and its activities. A particular standout was Pam at the front desk. She was delightful, personable, helpful, cheerful, and warm. We felt like we were being greeted by family. A gem of a person."

When I arrived at the hotel, instead of being checked into the room I had reserved, I was handed an envelope and told to take it across the street to the Residence Inn, where I was apparently expected to stay instead. "This hotel is very rundown. Not in a very good spot in town. We stayed there because we went to a show with the slush puppy place. When we got back to the room after the show, we were looking for a place to eat, and there was nothing open around where we were ended up having to call for pizza because there was no open restaurants around us and walking distance. "Wonderful place with lots of room, comfortable bed and nice hot tub"

"I've attended 2 weddings in area 7 years apart, stayed here both times - very happy with motel"

"The room was very nice and spacious. The hotel was clean and despite there being a lot of guests it was very quiet. Breakfast was passable. It was not above average. The location of the hotel meant that you had to drive everywhere. Nothing was in walking distance. Regardless, the parking was free, the staff was friendly and we had a very nice time."

"Hosts are so welcoming and gracious. We loved our stay at Pangea. Also the breakfast served was absolutely delicious. Thank you!"
