It is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Well situated and has all the amenities needed to keep the entire family happy.
I went in the winter so mist be even better in the summer when the outdoor pool is open and the suns out.
Beautiful Art Deco style hotel with lovely grounds. Our room had a large balcony with a wonderful view of the garden and the sea in the distance. Staff was pleasant and the view at breakfast is stunning.
Lovely hotel and location. Not impressed with service at breakfast very slow to get the table we asked for. Said it would be cleared and we had to wait a long time for it to be cleared. Otherwise everything was excellent.
A wonderful experience. Staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough to help. Room - sea view with balcony - was stunning. The dog was made as welcome as we were. Breakfast was delicious. Lovely spa too. Will be coming again!
Hotel was clean and tidy, room was so warm we couldn't sleep...barman didnt know what a martini was but he was very well mannered...breakfast very good...surrounding area was amazing
Bathroom lovely and liked especially ,the little low light that came on at night when you entered bathroom ,enabling you not to have to turn main light on. Very neat idea.
Service in resturant at breakfast slow at times. We thought we had been forgotten while waiting for our cooked breakfast by time it arrived our toast was very cold. People who arrived after us served their cooked breakfast while we were still waiting for our already ordered ones to arrive.!!!
We all had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, staff were friendly and loved the convenience of having to take our dog with us as it’s very dog friendly. The views were spectacular too, we will definitely be back!

Isolated and very difficult to get to. Precarious single track roads and we were unable to book taxis into Salcombe. Spa excellent, food very good, service ok but not great in the restaurant.
Standard double at the back of the hotel. Tiny room,no sitcom very hot so needed window open, all sorts of noises including car alarm under our window, carousing locals using the the shortcut right under it and then at 7.50 locals start using the bottle dump .
If you avoid the rear rooms and stay in a front one with sea breezes and views it would be stunning .
Gorgeous hotel with fabulous staff and spa but overpriced for the room we had . Hotel did offer refund
