As we entered the office, a growling slobbering dog with a ball in his mouth, came barreling towards my wife. She asked the senior woman behind the counter to restrain the dog, but the clerk refused and kept on stating "he just wants to play". That was our first turn off to this dirty place.
We reluctantly checked in, the room was dirty, the carpet so dirty we had to wear our socks so our feet wouldn't get dirty. There was a plastic bag tied around the smoke detector and the window locks were loose. One word to describe this place, "worn out"!
My wife wanted me to get our money back and just sleep in our SUV, but I just wanted to sleep. The chairs sunk down in the middle and the walls were dirty and full of holes. My wife and I wondered aloud, how did this place ever get on Hotels.com; it's very skanky.
I will not stay at this place again, regardless of the circumstances. Don't stay here unless you are absolutely down and out, you'll regret it.
