"This is an older property so don’t expect “modern boutique” style accommodation. The room was clean with nice sea view and the bed comfortable. The room was a bit warm (though that was when Scotland was having a bit of a heatwave - so probably not a common problem!). We had dinner in the Restaraunt and it was excellent. The final part of the road to Crinan is quite narrow which, while it adds to the anticipation, could be challenging if you are unlucky to meet a lot of cars on the single...

"Beautiful castle hotel, inside and out. Only suggestion I have would be to put a fan in each room during the summer, as you can’t open the windows due to the midgies and it gets quite warm when it’s 20° outside. Definitely take a hike around the island. Stunning views!"

"Smooth check in, very clear instructions. Easy, free parking just a few steps away. Lovely room, with beautiful furniture and decorative items. The room was large with comfy seating, as well as table and chairs for eating, plus a wonderful view of the harbour. Very comfy bed. Thoughtful touches in the room including chilled water, wine, cheese and oatcakes. Being opposite Co-op was very handy for food, though there were several options in the town too. Breakfast options were good, and delivered...
