I can't remember the young girls name that worked in the garden bar of an evening but she was the nicest person I met through out our stay in the hotel. She is a credit to the hotel and other staff members. We did find the room was very small and extremely hot. "This is a gem of a find. Beautifully fitted out and managed with exceptional care. The facilities in the room and common parts are simply great and nothing was too much trouble. Mitchelstown has much to offer but Birdies is above and beyond."

"We had a 3 night stay in the Talbot Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We asked for a fridge for our room to put cold drinks in and when we came back it was there plugged in for us. The staff are truly exceptional. The breakfast was excellent with such a variety on offer. We had dinner too and the roast beef was wonderful. Great location for visiting Clonmel with a bus stop outside and only 10 minutes into town for €1.50 each. We would highly recommend it for a great stay....
