Hartlebury Castle. There’s no turrets or moats, but plenty of beauty and history. This was a Bishop’s dwelling, placed in Hartlebury to call the alert if Welsh soldiers began to advance into England. Many royals visited over its history, but there’s also a chapel, beautiful grounds and a great hall to marvel at. "Good for solo and family trip. Inside the building everything is safe. Individually marked for individual rooms to avoid confusion. Got a nice kitchen and utensils. Well arranged. 10 minutes walk from Selly Oak train station (10 minutes ride to Birmingham). Customer support service is very much appreciated as they answer and sorted all my confusions promptly. Clean kitchen, corridor, bedroom and toilet. "
