Hartlebury Castle. There’s no turrets or moats, but plenty of beauty and history. This was a Bishop’s dwelling, placed in Hartlebury to call the alert if Welsh soldiers began to advance into England. Many royals visited over its history, but there’s also a chapel, beautiful grounds and a great hall to marvel at. If you’re a fan of Harry Potter, you’ll love the talking portraits which greet you and guide you through your visit!

"An excellent lodge with loads of space and good spec. Missing some key utensils/goods but no real bother."

The surrounding area is stunning with enough to keep the kids (8 + 10) entertained for hours in the fields, in the hot tub and trampolines. 100% we will return. Thank you Stuart. "

"Lovely break in a very quiet place"

"Absolutely beautiful location. Clean, spacious, well equipped and peaceful! The hot tub was clean and topped with chlorine everyday, the bedrooms were big, kitchen well stocked and a small cleaning kit provided on arrival. There was a bbq on the decking however we didnâ€™t get the opportunity to use it. We also had a little visit from the pheasant in the mornings, which was lovely!"

"The lodge was slightly smaller than anticipated but a usable space, there was some things that could of been added to the utensil list, this would of made doing the bbq easier.The area was very well kept and a nice quiet location espically with the scenic walk. Some works were going whilst there but didn't affect us to much.The hotub was very well maintained and outside space was nice to sit out on with the weather being good. Cupboard space was a little bit sparce, other wise a cosy lodge."
