Powder House Lodge has a very professional and courteous staff, and is conveniently located about 10 minutes from Mount Rushmore. The on site restaurant has great food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again if I were to visit the area.

Lots of space in the room and the best prime rib I have ever had and I come from beef country!! I had a beautiful view of the trees out of big windows with only a short drive to Mount Rushmore. Well laid out private walkable property with an outdoor pool for the kids! I definitely recommend this property and would come back.

Great location for exploring Mount Rushmore and surrounding Needles Highway and Sylvan Lake. Cabins were clean and comfy. The restaurant was really good too. Nice pool and playground for kids. Highly recommended.

We loved everything and wish we could've stayed longer. We stayed in the "honeymoon cabin" because it has a private hot tub. It was perfect! Staff was excellent as well
