"Dirty bathroom, rooms in need of modernisation. Wouldn’t recommend. Standard of cleanliness of rooms generally leaves a lot to be desired. Indicative of the standards is the note left by the housekeeping team….. on a notepad that had previously been soaked by an unknown liquid. Not sure what’s worse - the fact that they didn’t even notice or the fact that they did, and didn’t think it was an issue. Generally run down, wouldn’t return. "

"Rushton Hall is a wonderful place. It sits in immaculate grounds and the building has a fascinating history (ask to see the priest hole!) All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The pool was warm and clean. Food delicious and well-served. Highly recommended 👌. "

"Location was ideal for me as i needed to stay near family. Although there is nothing near by apart from Starbucks, Costa, KFC 10 mins away. The rooms were ok, bedding was clean Although underneath the beds was not. I found not nice things in there, like chewing gum, cigarette papers, French fries. I only used the rooms to sleep and shower. The main issue for me was the window latches were missing or very loose and i did not feel safe while sleeping. The windows are not double glazed. The room was on the ground floor. The weather was quite windy and the room was not warm due to the thin windows. I am ensure if i would stay there again. Next time i would specify a room in the top floor with no window latches missing. "
