"The hotel was near to Helvellyn for our walk, our third visit to this hotel. The staff were all very hardworking and lovely. The meals and choices were very good as were the bar choices. A lovely old building."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location in Keswick. I was staying in a single room. The room had all you needed and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Slept really well. A stones throw from the centre and a 10 minute walk through a lovely park to the start of climb to Latrigg for those epic sunsets. Parking is on the road nearby and be patient for a space, you will get one. The breakfast was first class and deserves its plaudits. Wonderful staff and a delightful place to stay. Would definitely return. "
