"Ideal location within the town of Keswick, the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was very good, the room was a good size but the bed was very creaky and it could do with a new mattress. There is free parking but its made for smaller cars as its really a tight squeeze. Overall we had a great stay."

"Really lovely venue. Clean, spacious and attentive staff. They went out of their way to help! The food was delicious- we had the breakfast and, even as a big eater, I had to leave some of the full veggie english (amazing sausages!)! The pancakes were great too! We also used the packed lunch making facility for our climb to Helvellyn (which you can do from the hotel!) and this was also really nice. Would highly recommend. The only thing that would improve the hotel for me would be a dry room for wet hiking gear!"

"A great stay, staff extremely helpful and freindly. We arrived with a 6 week old baby and hotel did everything possible to accomodate us. Breakfast was great, in general very enjoyable. Evening meal was very enjoyable though a little on the expensive side tbh. Overall would highly reccommend."
