Top Keswick Hotel Reviews
Lake District Castle Inn hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"Staff very friendly. Accommodation great as facilities brilliant. Lovely pool, lawn tennis courts, table tennis, putting, beautiful gardens, lovely outdoor patio, had gym but never went, Felt the dinning area seating could be improved but am aware lots of upgrading being done. Great choice at breakfast and food lovely. Service great. We had 2 dogs and being on ground floor with door outside was perfect."

Ravenstone Manor
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely hotel in a great location for walks. Friendly staff at reception, breakfast and the bar. Very nice food at breakfast. Clean and cosy room although the bathroom was looking a bit dated. The rest of the hotel was very nicely decorated, especially the bar. We were very fortunate to have the view from our room!"
The Lodge In The Vale

The King's Head Inn
8/10 Good
"Great location for walks around Thirlmere and for doing Helvellyn. Both evening meal & breakfast was good & service couldn’t be faulted. The room & bathroom were a good size for an overnight stay , one thing that could be improved is comfy pillows. The lady who dealt with our check-in & served us in the evening & for breakfast was very helpful, friendly & an asset to the hotel."
The Grange Country House

"Felt very welcome, comfortable rooms and communal areas and great breakfast. Will definitely return!"
Mary Mount Hotel
8/10 Good
"Beautiful view from the bedroom at the front of the hotel, and the location is gorgeous. The actual hotel would do with a bit of modernising- it’s not “old” as such, just showing some signs of wear in places- a lick of paint and a new carpet in the dining area would go a long way. However, it does still look nice. The shower is not powerful and the toilet flushes for a really long time for the pump to refill. In room toiletries are small and basic. The cleaning is not great- main areas are fine, but cobwebs on the lamp in the dining area are not good. But……. This hotel more than makes up for this in location, staff and food. The staff are truly lovely-friendly warm and helpful - but not false with it. The steak pie, the chips, the sandwiches and the lamp rump are all excellent. Plenty of variety and breakfast and quality was good. The walk around Derwent water was gorgeous and this hotel is close to Keswick- via foot bus or car. We much preferred the quiet of the hotel to Keswick which was very busy."
The Horse & Farrier Inn and The Salutation Inn
