"Upon check-in we were welcomed by Corey who was professional and courteous. There was an issue with the main corridor was extremely hot as if no ac was on. I came down to the front desk and a manager who I believe was Mr. Brown took care of it immediately. Upon checking out the woman at the front desk (don’t recall her name) was also very nice, professional and eager to assist. All staff was professional and courteous except the woman bartender who had more interest with her phone than she did with assisting customers. I waited and watched her and a man discuss something about her phone for over 15 mins while I waited to order a drink. When she finally did approach me, she was not friendly and showed no customer service. Room was fine, bed was comfortable, but attention to details in the bathroom are needed. Wallpaper peeling and nicks on the wall under the left side of the sink and can be seen while using the toilet. Due to hotel being so busy and noisy due to a catered event (wedding I think) and main door didn’t work. Overall hotel condition is 3, but all of the staff (except bartender) is a 5 which brought the rating up to a 4."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We wanted to be close to Longwood Gardens and this hotel was just minutes from there. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed. Shower was great - good pressure. And staff was very kind and informative about the food options. There are restaurants very close by, two walking distance, which was an added perk. All around a great place to stay!"

"Room was clean, back parking lot really needs to be cleaned up but going there for 3 years and never had an issue. Breakfast is ok even though milk was sour 2 out of the 3 days had to ask for new then it was just fine and as usual the staff was very helpful n doing a great job."

"This is a no-frills but funky motel. I needed a room on the first floor, and while I couldn’t tell which rooms those would be on-line (this is an improvement that could be made by the hotel), when I emailed to request a first floor room, they easily accommodated my request. The location is great, parking is easy (although the new restaurant next door may make it more limited), and the bed is fantastically comfortable. This was my second stay, and I’ll definitely be back."
