"Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall,...

"Millbrook Lodge is a lovely house - it has everything you want and more from a holiday home. We did have an issue with a beeping smoke alarm which unfortunately did not get resolved while we were there which is why I cannot give it a 5 star review."

"Really enjoyed our long weekend here. Good spot in the countryside while obly being a short walk from the lub and short drive from Kendal and lots of natoional trust properties. Plenty warm enough. Only just had 6 sets of kitchenware so felt we were constantly washing up, which was the obly minor downside. "

"Highly recommend this home! Enjoyed a week in Kendal. House is ideal location with a parking spot. Very quiet & clean neighborhood at the doorstep of High Street & all of the shops/restaurants. Communication with property managers was excellent, very clean home. Would definitely stay again."
