"I was really impressed with the Lakeland Hotel in Kendal. After a friendly welcome at reception I was directed to my room on the 3rd floor (via the lift thankfully). The first thing which struck me when I opened the door was the fresh smell which was a very pleasant surprise. The room was exceptionally clean. Gleaming bathroom and pristine sheets - what's not to love?
After a comfortable night, I went down for breakfast. There was a full continental selection with cereals, breads, fruits, juices and cold cuts as well as a cooked to order menu. A very slick service with a pot of coffee arriving quickly and my full English approximately 10 minutes later.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough."
