"Upon entering the room we were impressed by the blue led lighting strips. It gave us the sense that we were going into a room of the future. However, they have enough other lights that we were able to read without any effort. (I don't really like hotels that are mood-lit and never able to make bright enough to read anywhere). We flew late at night from the US only to learn that the penthouse was on the 5th floor and they didn’t have an elevator. "The staff is absolutely first class‼️ As are all KGH Group properties, the management is cheap. Half rolls of toilet paper, no tissues in the room, their lovely old wooden furniture needs varnish and repairing chips. I love the fact that there is a bunch of half feral cats, all well fed and taken care of by the staff. They lounge around in the gardens. They don’t approach the guests but also don’t run away. "I didn’t get the room what I saw online! Room was next to the street view so is noisy. In the shower, water was leaking all day/night and the tap water color was yellow, this may not be able to use it for even hand wash. Be careful when you turn it on! The room looks very old dirty, filthy, mouldy, the rotten wooden floor, and smell. I asked for something (I.e. mat) to cover up the rotten wooden floor or change the room for me instead but I got none of them even though I request them for a few...
