The hotel itself is in a stunning location overlooking the beachfront and has many restaurants surrounded by it giving more options for trying local food spots. We went in May so the hotel wasn’t too busy but even when it started to get busy, staff were still very attentive to every detail, especially when it came to breakfast! "

"This property made a very special chapter of my life unforgettable! After 6 months of researching, me and my NOW fiancee decided to book our 2 night stay at this beautiful property. As 2 people how have never travel to Greece before it was very difficult for us to find the right place and this location stood out because of the amazing reputation and let me tell you it hold up! About a month before our schedule stay I was in contact with one of thier well spoken concierge Mavra. I simply sent an email letting the team know i was going to be proposing during our stay and was messaged within 24 hour on WhatsApp. Mavra was not only super helpful but excited to help! She helped me some up with a creative plan and spent time speaking with me over the phone even after hours given our 8 hour time difference. I got personalize picture sent me me and pricing provided before we even arrived. Once we got there I was blown away by the hospital and friendly staff. I will also say this was no small accomplishment as me and my partner are both upper level managers for a luxury brand that specialize is hospitality and clients care. We were greeted by valet, he took our bags and parked our vehicle. We were then introduced to the manager and reception staff whom were incredibly welcoming. We then received freshing ice cold hand towels infused with oils to which we were then served our welcome beverages. We received multiple surpises and then rest of our stay continued this way with no issues"

"We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! "Perfect location for seeing the turtles and close to the main square for restaurants. Facing the harbour it is the nicest hotel in Argostoli. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Our room was large, and the balcony had a sea view. "

"Overall we had a lovely stay! Hotel manager ensured good communication by email upon check-in and throughout. We got upgraded to sea view, the small touches made a comfortable stay. Staff were lovely, well spoken, polite, look happy. There is a lovely woman who sings throughout the day and evenings, such wonderful voice. The wedding planner (Anna) guided us some lovely day trips and we’re ever so grateful for her knowledge. Things to consider: For those with no car, it’s a very long walk to closest town (village), I would recommend hiring a car for the area, but also to explore lovely beaches, sunset and vineyards. Food was lovely, including buffet options, but not sure why there were so many flies in the restaurant, more fans are needed. Apart from that, we would def reconsider going back again!"
