"Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains.
The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice.
Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed.
Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

"We loved our week long stay at Villa Iannis. The villa is spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool is delightful and big enough for swimming, if you so desire! The villa has beautiful gardens surrounding it - this does mean there are some mosquitos, so would recommend repellant- and you need it from about 4pm if sitting by the pool.The management team were friendly and helpful, and responded straight away when the water supply cut off for a few hours during our stay. The villa is within a very short easy walk to Almyrida, which is a fantastic village. The restaurants are great and the beach and sea are lovely. We loved the cats that live in/near the grounds and delighted in looking after them for the week. Overall, we would come back in a heartbeat. "

"Lovely Villa with an amazing view. About 15 min walk down to town and beach but steep walk back so taxi was good call in the night.Almyrida is lovely coastal town with great beach and good choice of restaurants."
"We had apartment 25 which we had last year. All of the apartments are sold, this one has been refurbished. Comfy bed, good air conditioning. There was a bit of confusion about cleaning the apartment, I ended up doing it as there was only 1 key for the apartment. Nadia was very helpful, she gave me clean towels, sheets etc when l asked for them and showed me how to do my washing. I was also provided with a brand new airer to dry the clothes. Lovely view from the apartment. There was a sponge, washing up liquid and tea towel, but no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, so remember to bring some or buy it at the local shops."

"Perfect location with stunning views across Almyrida, we watched the sunset each evening from our balcony.
Beaches & restaurants were just a few minutes walk away. Restaurants offered a delicious array of dishes, lots of fish and Cretan style salads.
Lovely sandy beaches and shallow sea, perfect for a dip to cool off.
We took a taxi to Chania Old Town one day which we would definitely recommend, you can also take the bus there from Almyrida.
Just as feedback, the room could do with a full length mirror but everything else was perfect for our stay.
We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be back!
