"What a sweet little spot. We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "

"This house is out there. If you are curious about what living off grid would be like, this is a chance to experiment. The walk out to the cliff to see the ocean was amazing. We were able to explore Volcanoes NP from here and the surrounding towns. The night sky is amazing."

"The Jungalow was beautiful and came with everything we needed for our group of 5. The location was perfect for our first visit to Volcanoes national park and other sights on the windward side of the big island. The wild chickens were the favorites for the grandkids.
