"I liked the convenience "

"The property is exceptional. Two issues in my opinion. 1. This unit is on the 23rd floor ... waiting on elevators is real challenge. 2. This is a non-smoking property I found out that I could not even smoke cigars outside on the balcony...up to $500 fine and expulsion from property. All smokers relegated to a fringe area downstairs around the corner. I didn't learn about this until after I checked in."

"I had a great stay at the Bamboo ! This was a solo trip for me . I felt very safe and the room was cozy, and comfortable . The AC worked perfectly , it was quiet, clean and very close to beach, restaurants , the International Market , and of course the ABC stores are plentiful! Always a great spot for a cold drink or a snack. I rented a car and had to use a couple different parking garages located 3-6 blocks away. That was fine for me. "Great location, great view but that comes from the front balcony. The building is positioned so that 80% of the unit faces the neighboring buildings with the short side of the building facing the ocean, which is beautiful, and that balcony is spacious, with ocean song. The only thing I would be concerned with is in the summer when all the air condoners are on, the song will be drowned out. The other thing to note is the mildew problem.
