"Comfortable, spacious room. They had all the amenities you’d need - a stocked kitchen, 2 TV’s, lots of rooms downstairs to hang out, a pool. The room also had both composting AND recycling, which was welcome to see - not everyone bothers. It’s also convenient - very close to the sites, but not right in them middle of everything so it’s quieter. Plus, a great diner downstairs!"

"Very nice property. Staff was very nice and helpful. In room coffee was actually good as was the complimentary breakfast. Location was an easy walk to the inner harbor and the Canada day fireworks were literally right across the street!"

"Ocean Island Inn treated me very well for my two night stay. It's a hostel with a broad diversity of amenities and services available, all with a humbly human vibe. It's located in a part of town that's accessible by walking to much of what Victoria has to offer, and Victoria is a really nice, small city by North American standards. It is a little gritty around the Inn, so factor your appetite and acceptance of that kind of thing into whether this is the place for you, but it's definitely safe. My room was clean and tidy, the bed comfy and the facilities very good. I'll stay again."

"Great location and clean (walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go). Free shuttle to Malahat skyway was right across the street. Pool was nice (and so was the hot tub). All in all a great stay. "
