It was very easy to use the kitchen and bathroom. The owner is wonderful and he took us on a bee keeping expedition to see his hives, which was an absolute highlight for us. "The size and layout of the property was as described and it was ideal for our family group. Our main concern was with the condition of the outside furniture which was past its usefulness and quite dangerous as some of the chairs collapsed when sat on. The property has much potential but is currently looking very tired."

"This lovely home in Le Thor is situated in the countryside on a quiet road with minimal traffic. The yard was beautiful, and I harvested figs and walnuts from trees on the property. It was exactly the peaceful retreat I needed, and was .5-1 hour from several historic sites. I recommend this site for anyone who wishes a relaxing getaway."

"A large comfortable home with great views and a garage for storing our rental bikes. Ten days went by too quickly. It was about a mile walk to Caromb for our daily croissant and café. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. Would love to stay a little earlier in September and really take advantage of the beautiful pool and garden. Would definitely recommend to cyclists as a convienent base for exploring the area."

"The house is great, with lovely views to distant hills and in a very attractive garden. Our daughter, who is autistic, loved the pool. The property was very well equipped with everything we needed and we particularly appreciated the oil, vinegar, spices and kitchen roll which saved us buying these. "We had a lovely week at the villa - the sunny lounge/dining area opening into the poolside was a really great space and meant the kids were in the pool several times a day. There was a boulangerie and small supermarket a five minute bike ride away and excursions to nearby towns and villages were easy by car. There were some hiccups with the pool heater and the hot tub was never hot but overall it was a lovely place to stay and Emile and his family were very responsive to our questions and...

"We couldn't have wanted anything more. Myrielle and her husband welcomed us and were the perfect hosts. The property had everything to make our stay in Vaison la Romaine truly rememberable. We were a short walk from the main square and the old town but the property was extremely quiet..apart from the cicadas!
