"Charming little cottage in serene location but also conveniently located close to shops in nearby villages. The cottage itself is cozy, perfect for 2 people with everything one needs to prepare quick and easy meals. The exterior grounds and garden are inviting and very relaxing. A great little piece of Provence! The hostess, Waleria, is very attentive and responsive to inquiries and very pleasant as well. A great stay - would return!"

"I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....

"The property was clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool was a welcome relief from the scorching temperatures, and after a hot day sightseeing it was lovely to take a refreshing dip. The gite is located an easy 10 minute amble into Vaison - a bustling market town with all the facilities one could need. There are some quirks - there is only one loo, which is downstairs whilst the shower room is upstairs. There is also no wash hand basin in the loo. Also, the VRBO listing states...

"A group of 6 shared the villa for 6 weeks as a base for the Rugby World Cup games in southern France. The villa fulfilled all our needs. Clean, tidy, spacious with all the amenities you need. Rooms were great, outside spaces and pool were superb. I agree with all other excellent reviews. Boulangerie down the road and the town is excellent. "Les + : La maison est dans un écrin de verdure. Elle est idéalement placée pour qui désire visiter les environs. La piscine est magnifique et malgré la chaleur elle était très fraîche. Très bon contact avec l’hôte et sa famille. "A beautifully restored property. We had a wonderful stay. The house is very well equipped and renting was a very smooth process. Odile was very helpful right from the start. When we arrived, we had an issue with one of the units anc it was fixed the next day. Lovely view from the terrace and the pool was perfect for us. Everything was just right"

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was fine, the shower was great, the room was very spacious, but with a characterless, unadorned feel. Still, over all, good value. "
