"Such a lovely inn! The room was beautiful with everything needed. I actually booked it because of the freestanding tub and big shower and they were exactly what I wanted. All the windows were lovely, but if the curtains weren’t closed, the room got hot even with the AC all the way up, but the ceiling fan helped pick up any slack once we realized this and closed them. "My daughter and I stayed at Summit Street Inn for a weekend of college touring and getting to know Winston Salem. This inn is beautiful and clean, conveniently located at the “end” of downtown. We felt safe and walked to dinner and other outings. The home is well maintained with a mix of old (original creeky floors) and new (bathrooms) and lovely gardens! We will be back!"

"This is a converted bed and breakfast from a 1917 Tudor style large home. Polly, the manager, was most gracious and engaging and oversaw a nightly happy hour. My room was quite spacious and tastefully decorated. I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast due to business commitments but I would definitely stay here again."
