"Host was very easy to reach and quick to respond. The house was the most confortable we have ever stayed in.Clean decorated cute bedrooms. Shops were a few blocks away. Beach walking distance.Really liked owners shop.Lots of other stores too."

"Beautiful room with great attention to historic details. Loved the gold fixtures... it was a nice touch. Spotless room and all amenities. Late night cookies and snacks were a great surprise. The Directors room was private and quiet. Please check the outlets in the room, the plugs needed to be "wiggled" to work. The water hotpot was super cute, but we couldn't get the outlet to keep it on. Thank you for the stay. You've created a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful space."

"This is an awesome place, very clean, quiet, and spacious. The rooftop deck is nice, with great views, but too hot during the day in the summertime. The one thing to know is that, while there is parking, it is a block away and not easy to haul all your luggage if there’s no spot directly in front of the building. We were able to pay to park in front while unloading and loading, so it worked out great. The location is GREAT! Walking distance to the main street with shops and food. Not a bad walk to the beach either if you don’t mind walking up and down the hill. I would highly recommend this place for its cleanliness, location, and great communication from the owner."

"We had a great stay at Downtown St. Joseph. House was nicely furnished and clean. Our favorite spot was the front porch for morning. coffee. Location is perfect, easy walk to all downtown shops and restaurants."

"We had a wonderful stay. My sister and I came up from Florida and our cousin from the Chicago area was able to come and meet us.It was the perfect location. We walked to all the shops as well as an art gallery where we enjoyed the use of all their crafting materials. It was so much fun!We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoyed the little community garden across the street.The house was spotless and very well maintained.The beds/pillows were very comfortable.I will say that if you are elderly, I'm 65, and have issues with Balance, the bathtub/shower is a bit tricky to get in and out of. There is a had bar outside that helps.Highly recommend!"

"This is our 4th year at this cottage and we will absolutely consider again for next year. Very minor hiccups....the main BR ceiling fan cannot be turned off (only by using the wall switch) or the speed adjusted using the pull cords. So we weren't able to use that as the high speed was pretty breezy. The main floor BR light on the left of the mirror went out during our stay so just needs replacing. Otherwise things were very smooth. We used the wagon every day to go to the beach. The new dishwasher ran perfectly and the new faucet in the main bathroom was also appreciated. Denise"
