"Jeff and Chad maintain a beautiful property filled with native plants. They have a trail on the cliff side that runs through patches of rhododendron that connects all properties. The cabin is a nice little a frame that is surprisingly spacious. Less than a 5 minute walk to Broadway or Race St, great location if you're looking to shop, drink, eat, or visit any museums."

"This is one of the best rentals I’ve had for family travel. Spacious, clean, comfortable, easy. The beds were great. Plenty of towels, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc. We had everything we needed for 5 adults. Be aware that there are quite a few steps to the entrance and the home is on a hill. This was a challenge but manageable for my 80 yo mother in law. I was glad I didn’t bring my dog because I don’t think she could have managed them. The twin beds, esp the daybed, are small for an adult but would be perfect for kids. My 21yo chose to sleep on the couch instead but he said it was very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the little deck by the entrance. Very relaxing looking out at the beautiful mountains. This property is on the residential side of Jim Thorpe which was perfect for us since we were visiting my son who lives in that area. The area is very nice and has a few places to eat and a grocery store. You could walk to the historic side of town but it’s more than a mile and quite hilly so you’ll want to drive over and park - go early to get a spot. This beautiful place was a great home base for our trip. We went hiking, checked out the 100mi view, went to Lansford to do the number 9 coal mine tour (very cool), saw the Asa Packer Mansion and rented the caboose for the scenic train ride. It was the 4th so we cooked burgers and dogs back at the rental and sat on the porch watching some fireworks in the distance. Perfect stay!"

"We had an amazing stay at the Log Home. Wayne was a great host. The house had everything we needed- it was pristine and fully stocked with the essentials- great bunk room for the kids and the bar was an added bonus for the adults in the group. Would absolutely come back and stay again! "
