"Everything was amazing, especially Purvi, who provided excellent service. However, my experience with Kian Restaurant was extremely disappointing.
We were repeatedly told that Kian Restaurant was fully booked or sold out. Surprisingly, when we visited around 9 PM on Karva Chauth, during peak dinner hours, there were only three families dining in the restaurant.
Even after arriving, the staff told us they were fully booked. When I mentioned that reception had confirmed availability, the restaurant staff admitted that they were only offering a dining package starting at ₹15,000 plus taxes. It genuinely felt like they were misleading guests by saying they were sold out rather than being transparent about their pricing.
To make matters worse, they offered us an outside decorated table for ₹35,000 plus taxes. I eventually paid ₹17,700, including taxes, but honestly, the à la carte option would have been a much better choice.
My concern is not just the pricing but the lack of transparency and customer service. If there are minimum spending requirements or special occasion packages, guests should be informed upfront instead of being told that the restaurant is sold out.
A special occasion should be about enjoying the experience, not feeling pressured into expensive packages. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.
