"I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because of the front desk staff. The lady on night audit was fantastic but the young lady who worked in the evening would be pulled from the desk so much I was never able to buy snacks when I wanted. I guess I could’ve just taken them like I’m sure others have but after working in hotels as a manager for 10 years I chose to be ethical and leave this review instead."

"Quiet location close to activities. Excellent room."

"We enjoyed our stay ! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Quite pleasant to meet and talk with."

"The Cheshire Inn is such a great, unique hotel - we loved our first stay here! We came in for WashU parents' weekend and stayed two nights. Very well-appointed hotel, super cute decorations and theme, very clean and tidy. The bar is a nice spot for a cocktail or draft beer and the lobby and sitting areas are spacious and comfy. Free breakfast was a very nice amenity. We very much look forward to staying at the Cheshire again in the future!"

"Clean room, staff was very helpful from finding food to getting a ride nearby."

"Parking was a bit confusing."

"I never like to be negative in my ratings, but sometimes it is necessary. The staff were very pleasant and somewhat helpful. I requested a wakeup call but never received it. The room was clean but lacked a few things. The bathroom only had 2 wash cloths, 2 hand towels, no bath towels, forcing me to use the bathmat for drying purposes. "There was a fight right outside my bedroom about 3 AM. I was a single woman traveling and I did not feel safe at all. I would not recommend this for solo travels."

"I stay here whenever I come to St. Louis because I know that I'll get a great room that's clean, a friendly innkeeper and his dog, and an excellent breakfast to start my day! The location is in a neighborhood right across from Benton Park. Street parking is easy peasy."

"Very nice place. We will come back if we are in the area. One thing to note. This a Bed & No Breakfast."

"Check inout Staff was amazing"

"Clean room"

"Well organized, but the noise from the Interstate was a bit disappointing."

"Exactly what you would expect from a four seasons hotel. Fantastic, all the way around!"

"Hotel and room were very clean. Beds were very comfortable. On site bar was convenient."

"This was a beautiful hotel. We did not realize until too late that check-in times were limited. And we really missed having a fridge in our room. The manager did let us use the fridge in the upstairs lounge but that was shared with another group of people."
