Cozy and pleasant stay right in the middle of the Hanok village. Traditional style of house with modern comforts, very clean, host was very helpful and hospitable with check-in, check-out, and had local suggestions for activities and dining. Easy to get around, and happy to recommend.
It's the best place to experience hanok in Jeonju. Great location and awesome service! Host is such a nice and fun person. I'd like to come back with my fam. 방바닥+ 화장실 바닥도 뜨끈뜨끈하고 좋음. 사장님 잘 묵고 갑니다. 감사해요!
Great stay for two nights at Samlockhon with two friends. Loved the atmosphere, the place and the location. We got so many good tips about the area from our host. This place is amazing!
Had an amazing visit and the host was really sweet and helped us with information about good places to eat and see. The house was supernice and clean and it felt relaxing.
The room was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. The Summer had a loft with plenty of space. The workmanship of all the woodwork was breathtaking such a tension to detail made you really feel comfortable. The room was right in the middle of the village which made life really easy for shopping and eating. I give this place 100 stars if I could.
In the heart of Hanok villege yet quiet. Great coffee shop is right next door. Friendly staff. Very clean and equipped with good size fridge & Korean water filter system.
beautiful place. amazing experience to stay in a hanok. Mr Lee was very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for places to visit and eat in jeonju. the light breakfast every morning was a nice start to the day. parking was in a public parking lot nearby - 50% off with a receipt obtained from Mr Lee. Thank you, Mr Lee - your place is wonderful and highly recommended
This was such a treat and by far the least expensive place we have stayed on our whole Japan/Korea journey. The owner was amazing and went out of u hi is way to make everything wonderful. You can tell he takes great pride in his business and he treats his guests amazing. I am so glad we chose to stay here. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The village is very nice as well. It is like you are transported back in time.
What i didn't like is the issue on not being able to find it because the taxi driver does not know the place. A good landmark is the PNB bakery at Jeonju Hanok Village which is walking distance to the property.
Place is managed by a gentleman and an elderly lady. Very helpful and cheerful guy. Lots of good restaurant recommendations from him.
Goes out of his way to assist me despite the language barrier.
The Hanok is ABSOLUTELY beautiful! Excellent location! The hosts were amazing. They warmly greeted us, immediately sat us down, showed us a map and told us what to do, where to go and what to eat! They made us a wonderful Breakfast both mornings. I was touched as our train left very early yet, they woke up early to make us breakfast and ordered a taxi for us. 10/10
Super pretty traditional Korean house right in the centre of the Hanok village. Owner was very hospitable, he welcomed us with lots of great info on what to see and to eat and by following his advice to the letter we were very satisfied indeed with the mandu, bibimbap and bingsu we ate (eolmoni’s café makes delicious black sesame bingsu). We had to squeeze our visit in half a day since we had our train the morning after but we managed to see everything on the list.the owner was super kind the morning after in fact he drove us to the train station since it was very early and he wasn’t sure our luggage would have fit in one taxi and he even dropped to the market and gifted us with some traditional Korean rice cakes. Only downside, but that’s very personal because of my poor old back, the futon wasn’t a comfortable sleep for me, but again, my two teenager boys didn’t bat an eye! I think it’s still worth the experience spending at least a night in a traditional house and this one is totally recommendable.
Perfect location as it is in the center of Jeonju Hanok Village.
The owner and his family are very kind and helpful. Service is really on another level.
As soon as we checked in, the owner helped us by recommending a number of good restaurants. We went to all of them and we really enjoyed them.
This place is perfect for people who want to experience a traditional Hanok.
