“Neon Fish” is a private, luxurious 2 bedroom home that sits proud on a beautiful rocky cliff on the Sonoma Coast with big ocean drama, an endless sky scape and wonderful wildlife home to whales, seals, sea birds and more.

As you enter the house, you’ll be immediately and pleasantly surprised by the spectacular ocean views at every turn!

The open floor plan on the upper level is contemporary, comfortable and flows easily from living to kitchen/dining so a couple and/or small group of friends can enjoy each other while cooking, listening to music, marveling at nature’s magnificence and relaxing near a fire in the winter months .

The kitchen is easy to navigate, complete with spices, oils, condiments, kitchen gadgets galore, an outdoor grill nearby and everything you could possibly need to make a delicious meal.

On the lower level of the home, Neon Fish has 2 bedrooms separated by a spiral staircase for ultimate privacy. They are equally nice rooms with floor to ceiling ocean views, their own decks, en suite bathrooms and comfortable high end bedding.
*Door on the lower level/ocean side of the home separates the bedrooms and opens to a private bluff—Awe-inspiring !!!

Enjoy all of the property's outdoor space—both oceanfront and a private courtyard with seating, fire pit, a backdrop of beautiful coastal trees and more ocean views.

For dusk/evening glamour and a change of mood…The Neon Fish vintage art piece fills the living room with a pink glow and the outdoor cliff lights highlight the rocky shore. The stargazing is incredible and the moon on the Sonoma Coast is beyond beautiful! (no light pollution)

The spa/sun room is one of the favorite rooms in the house. It has a large soaking tub w/ recycling fresh water that stays heated at 103 degrees, sliding doors that open wide to the ocean view, a moon eclipse sconce light over the tub and a rain shower to complete the experience. It’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the beauty of the coast any time of the day or night.

Without needing to get in a car—Take a bluff walk to StillWater Cove Beach and across the way you’ll find an old growth redwood/ fern forest trail with creeks, birdsong and a variety of flora and fauna.

Really amazing experience!
This home is incredible. My husband and and I stayed along with another couple and our experience exceeded expectations. The home design takes full advantage of every fantastic view and even with the open floor plan, provides many areas for solitude. We enjoyed the art throughout the home. Bed linens were awesome. The grounds and foliage surround you with peace and beauty. We enjoyed the family of deer in the morning and the seals swimming in the bay. . Interesting master shower!

Incredible Stay!!!
Absolutely spectacular on every level. Deeply enjoyed the incredible views and all of the amenities. We cooked in the kitchen and had all of the tools we needed. We used the firepit, used the fireplaces, and used the soaking tub. Cannot recommend enough!!!

Don’t want to leave
40th anniversary trip. Husband tore Achilles tendon a month before our trip. He couldn’t do any hiking. Not a big deal NeonFish is beautiful. We saw : Sunny hot days, some overcast, beautiful sunset Many birds, pelican, seagull, crow. Seals, Whale yes a whale !! Deer, Foxes, Lizard, Kayakers, Fishing boats, Big ants and multiple people fishing from the rock and this was all from NeonFish. They have everything you need here, We were soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the ocean !!! You’re even able to watch the waves at night with the spotlight pointing at the ocean. At first my husband was a little upset the TV didn’t work with our cable sign on but he figured it out.. ( he didn’t end up watching much) It was so relaxing ❤️

The Neon Fish was exactly what the doctor had ordered. Beautiful surroundings. A spectacular view with a well appointed home. This place delivered as promised. The house is beautiful and looks just like the photos.. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The owner was extremely responsive when we contacted her for an issue and offered options for resolving the problem immediately. All in all, we would highly recommend staying here.

It was the most modern, exciting and beautiful experience we have ever had with some 62 other homes on the north coast. A once in a lifetime experience and we have lots of experience. Hated to leave, Perfect in every way except at night, would have like a little TV or music.)

Beautiful Beach Stay
The home is just a gem and better than the photos. Note it’s right on the coast so if there are any sudden changes in weather you may experience some bugs. The home is so beautiful and the host so communicative that you may not even mind, but sharing for folks with any sensitivities as was the case for one person in our group.

Amazing Views – Excellent Location
Amazing Views – Excellent Location The views and location are amazing! That’s what you are paying for. We visited in December with our daughters and had a great time – even with the rain for much of our visit. The check-in process and communication were great. I would encourage the owner to address the following: -Linens: The quality of the bedding could improve along with additional pillows. Also, there are not enough bath and hand towels. The property has a great soaking tub – but only a total of 4 bath towels in the master/primary bedroom. This resulted in a load of laundry each day. -Cleanliness: Needs improvement. For example, lots of cobwebs on the windowsills and the large round ottoman upstairs had numerous stains on it – definitely not inviting to lounge on. We would also suggest an entry mat to prevent tracking debris into the house. -Kitchen: The kitchen has lots of stuff – but not well put together. Sometimes less is more. -Refrigerator: Some people like finding left over and out of date items in the fridge – we do not. My wife dedicated a shelf as “do not use”. Again – we may be unique in this way of thinking. (Other reviews noted that there was left over items – so this was not a surprise) -Overall Maintenance: As a whole – the property has some overdue interior and exterior maintenance items. The owner/manager should address the items noted above to balance the value/price of the experience.

Unique and stunning property
Perched directly on the cliff edge with beautiful views from every room, this property is the quintessential north coast getaway. The home is quiet and romantic - perfect for a getaway with your special someone. At night there are powerful flood lights that illuminate the dramatic ocean waves crashing on the surf - an amazing touch that allows you to enjoy the picturesque vista even at night. The spa room is an absolute highlight with broad roll back doors that open up to for views the pacific cliffs and the crisp sea breeze. The home design is fantastic, magazine worthy and all the appliances and the many fireplaces are super user friendly. My girlfriend and I loved everything about this place and have already recommended it to all our friends. A truly iconic property on the north coast.

My wife and I and another couple stayed at the Neon fish to celebrate New Years and my wife's 50th birthday. The pictures listed do NOT do the property justice. The grounds are far more beautiful than we expected. The kitchen is well appointed and made staying in and cooking very simple. We will definitely make this trip again!

Wonderful stay!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Neon Fish - it exceeded our expectations. The home was comfortable, clean and spacious with plenty of nooks to enjoy the incredible water views. We were able to take a lovely hike to see redwoods, and enjoy the surrounding area. Kim was a communicative host who made sure we had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again, and highly recommend it!

Coastal Awe and Relaxation
We travel every Fall to escape our Houston heat. Neon Fish was the perfect escape. We had only been inside this magnificent home for a few minutes before we were trying to determine when we could come back for another stay. The home itself is even better than the preview photos. Kim has thought of everything to make you feel at home and we did! We will return as soon as possible to relax and embrace the awe and beauty of Neon Fish and its surroundings. Spectacular spot in spectacular home
Located on an ocean cliff with a particularly dramatic view of the Pacific, the modern architecture of the house takes maximum advantage of the view, with its excellent light, varied angles and very large windows all offering many perspectives. A great getaway place
We had a very relaxing time at the Neon Fish. The house is situated so that each room has spectacular ocean views. Both bedrooms, the living room and even the kitchen have dramatic views of the Sea. Also, there are a killer pair of binoculars for an up-close look at the seals and birds resting on the rocks just beyond the surf. The place is private, clean, and quiet. The kitchen has everything you need, just bring food. Kim our host was terrific. She stayed in touch before and during the trip which made for a very pleasant experience.

Breathtaking views in an immaculate house
I've stayed in many beachfront properties, but the view from this house, perched above rocks with waves crashing on them, was the best I've ever seen. The house was perfectly designed for views all the time, and no need for shades (though there were shades, and also high quality shades in the bedrooms which is rare for beach houses). From the living room you look straight down at the ocean; from the kitchen and dining room, straight out at them. We saw dolphins, seals, and pelicans galore. The kitchen was well stocked with gorgeous views from every angle. The shower and soaking tub with floor to ceiling glass and ocean views were spectacular. We walked out the back of the house, across top of bluffs, through nearby campground and onto a beautiful 3 mile hiking loop through redwoods adjacent to a stream, and we did longer stunning cliff-top walks and forest hikes at Salt Point State Park within a few miles drive. We had dinner at Timber Cove Resort, and 25 min north, at Sea Ranch, which also had miles of cliff-top trails. The Starlink internet/ wifi was great on the main floor of the house, which was important since cell service was sketchy (1-2 bars).

Wonderful secluded California coast getaway!
We stayed at Neon Fish with our friends for his birthday weekend. The house was comfortable, with everything we needed, just like the listing said. The views were truly breathtaking, there were floodlights we could turn on at night to see the waves crashing on the rocks below. We played games from the games closet and used the fire pit out back. The hottub fit all of us and the view was outstanding! We would recommend Neon Fish as an amazing one-of-a-kind property. My husband said it was the best birthday he could remember. Thank You, Kim. Amazing!!
