Tushielaw Inn
3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (9)
"I recently stayed at a lovely Inn nestled under the hills and was thoroughly impressed. The hospitality was outstanding, and the accommodation was spotless. What sets this place apart is the affordability of both drinks and food – a refreshing change from other recent stays. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of a dram of whisky in a glass canister in the room. The owner's warm welcome made us feel right at home. As a pet-friendly establishment, it was the perfect choice for our...

Black Burn Lodge
3.5 star property
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (36)
"Just returned from wonderful two night stay at Black burn Lodge and it lives up to the rave reviews. Stunning location by the river, where we spent the evenings in the gazebo enjoying the views and a glass of Baileys . The room was spotlessly clean with high quality bedlinen and furnishings. Also separate lounge if weather not great. The hosts make you feel so welcome and provide a lot of formation about where to eat and visit in the area. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again."

"Our team had a very enjoyable stay whilst working nearby. The host was a fountain of knowledge who could not have done more for us. One of the party was injured and our host went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with the additions from the local bakery and butcher, as well as home made jams and marmalade. Thanks again from all at SWS "

Abbey House, charming traditional historic house. Spectacular views of the Abbey
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"Abbey House is the absolute best of the best. Comfortable, clean, homely and with extra touches that make it something else. But the view, the view simply takes your breath away and makes it magical. We were there as a base for our Taylor Swift Era's Tour Adventure in Edinburgh and were so happy with Abbey House that our only complaint is that we had to come home. Georgie is great at communicating and has clearly taken every care to make her guests feel valued. Little gifts and extras were very...
