Luxurious Stay Near the Ocean, Heated Pool Access

"Our group loved this home. It is both beautiful and comfortable. The view from the living area and porch is stunning. It is three stories with the living area on the top floor so we appreciated that there was an elevator to help get luggage and groceries upstairs. The kitchen and dining area were spacious and we loved that there was a separate cooler for drinks and a large capacity ice maker. The beach was only a short walk down a private path and the beach was virtually private. We took our own chairs, beach wagon and canopy but there were extra chairs and a wagon in the garage. Our only real complaint is that the listing advertised pool access but the pool was miles off site and required daily texting to get permission to use it. We didn’t even try. There were a couple of hiccups during our stay but the hosts were quick to respond and resolve them. We loved this beautiful home and would definitely rent again. However, a suggestion for the downstairs bedroom is to improve the furnishings with some seating and an area rug. It was sparse and didn’t compare to the other bedrooms. Mia with Southern Belle was a great host! Thank you!"

"Such a great place to stay! The bowling alley was a lot of fun and very well maintained and easy to use. Tons of space for two families of four and having the on-site golf cart was great having available (a lot of the other rental places were sold out). Nice pool for relaxing in and a short walk / golf cart drive to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, appliances and great communication with the host and manager. Would recommend and stay here again!"
Spacious 2 King Bedroom Condo with Pool

"The entire process of staying at this place was wonderful! My friends and I were staying here for the weekend, we came down a little earlier than check-in time. We received 2 messages about they would let us know when the room would be ready and we received a message about 1 hr earlier than normal check-in time. We had no issues parking and the room was super nice, however there was a stain on the bedsheet in one of the rooms. All of the amenities were included and in nice condition! I would definitely recommend staying here for future trips and to others!"
Desoto Beach Terraces

"I’ll start off with the positives: The room is air conditioned and spacious. The terrace can 3-4 people max. The fact that I was about 40 or so steps from the beach was the ultimate plus. I didn’t need to cook anything since there were restaurants left and right which were easily accessible for the location. They were even willing to offer an early check in which was cool. The negatives were not that many but noticeable. The room can use an upgrade (paint/updated appliances/Clean the mold and water stains). I get it, it’s the first floor but it’s still a place that you’re paying $400 for so you would expect to get your moneys worth. If you’re on the first floor then be prepared to hear anyone that will be staying above you and there isn’t anything you can do about it, that’s just the way the unit is built. I wished they showed the other properties for their location as additional options as I only saw the terrace and the apartment. They also have a hotel right next to the terraces which would’ve also been helpful. The parking was covered but tight, especially if someone is parked next to you. Overall I can give this place a 7/10, would’ve been a solid 9/10 if the upgrades were made."

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this property. Check in was smooth, and management was available and helpful when we called them for assistance shortly after our arrival. The house was immaculate and well-stocked with all of the expected essentials. The property is just steps from public beach access, so we also enjoyed the convenience of that. We had a lovely time, and I would absolutely stay here again!"
