Casa Banyan

  • If elegant and minimalist lifestyle is your holiday dream, Casa Banyan will not disappoint you. With five bedrooms and numerous fabulous indoor and outdoor spaces, the house is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking to retreat to a chic accommodation, at any time of the year.



    Near Montgo National Park, the property is a short drive from the Historic Old Town of Jávea and 15 minutes by car from the Port and Arenal. In the opposite direction, and 10 minutes by car, are the La Sella golf course and spa, as well as the charming market town of Jesús Pobre.



    With three double bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper floor, and two other double rooms with a shared shower room on the independent ground floor*, Banyan House attracts guests with its calming palette of whitewashed walls, beach wood furniture and soft upholstery in neutral tones. *Please note that to access room 5 on the ground floor, it is necessary to first pass through room 4. Ideal for families and children, not so much for older couples.



    External guests have many options for entertainment. A covered seating area next to the main hall is perfect for reading or enjoying the gardens, and at the end of the pool there is a large covered sofa area ideal for drinks after dinner or playing card games by the pool. Outside the kitchen, an equally large space offers a wonderful family dining table for outdoor dinners.

    JH's advice: Banyan House is located just 550 metres from Cora House. If you're coming with family, booking two or all of them could be a good option!



    **Important Information**



    1) Age Policy: Groups under 25 are not allowed (except families or young guests accompanied by adults staying in the property). Non-compliant bookings may be refused check-in without refund.



    2) Winter Long Stays (1 Nov – 31 Mar): Stays of 31+ nights receive a special discount but utilities (electricity, water, gas) and weekly linen changes are not included. A €500 utilities prepayment is required; extra usage will be charged and unused amounts refunded.



    3) Stays over 10 days: Spanish law requires signing a Non-Habitual / Temporary Housing Rental Contract

Wonderful stay in a very nice house!

It is a fine house. We stayed there with our adult children en friends. Total 7 people. The lounge corner by the pool was great. It gave the necessary shadow on hot days. Also a good barbecue is outside. The garden and the house were very clean. The big tables where we did sit, eat and drink are nice. But there are no normal chairs but only wooden benches. The energy and the atmosphere was very good! * Also chairs to sit by the tables. * A better warmwater system. showers were sometimes not warm * a mosquito net around the poollounge would be wonderful to keep the wasps outside.

A Wonderful Villa in a Beautiful Setting

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Banyan in Jávea and would definitely recommend it. The villa itself is lovely, with fantastic outdoor spaces. The seating area by the pool was a particular favourite, as was the BBQ and dining area - perfect for relaxing and enjoying time together. The villa was also really well equipped, and there honestly wasn’t anything we could think of that it was missing. There were a few small things that were a little frustrating. There’s no air conditioning in the main living area of the villa, there isn’t a huge amount of hanging space for clothes, and the water pressure and hot water could be a bit hit and miss. If you’re staying as a large family or group, you’ll definitely want to get to the shower before everyone else! These are relatively minor points, but worth being aware of. Overall, though, this was our third stay in Jávea, and the villa itself - despite those few small frustrations - was perfect for us. The location is great, the villa is a wonderful place to stay, and Jávea itself is just beautiful. We’d definitely recommend hiring a car, as it makes getting around and exploring the area much easier. A lovely villa in a beautiful part of Spain - we’d happily stay again!
