Hotels near Ito Izukogen Station

"Beautiful ocean view from our room and the bathtub captured that view. Very traditional set up for Japanese families and the Onsen was lovely. Being able to sit under a cherry blossom tree in full bloom and look out to the ocean in a hot spring was a true highlight of our trip. Where the property let us down, was that the restaurant was booked out every day and there was no options for vegetarian or any western menu. Luckily there was a full kitchen in our unit so we could cook, however we had to pay ¥400 to borrow cooking facilities which was unusual. The hotel itself is a little tired, wasn’t too clean and much of the property desperately needs updating. My husband and I had a single bed each but our daughter had to sleep on a fold up futon on the tatami mat floor in a room with no ventilation which she didn’t seem to mind. Given the location of property, I think it has a real potential but we wouldn’t stay there again. We would’ve been better in an Airbnb because there was no benefit of being in a hotel apart from the lovely onsen. We noticed that were the only Westerners staying there, so this property clearly only caters for Japanese tourists and not international visitors."

"One of the best hotel experiences ever. So different to anything that I have ever experienced. It’s like a little sanctuary in rural Japan in the countryside next to the ocean. You basically just relax and you have onsens you can use. Food is very high quality, authentic Japanese food, made by a chef. Staff were so courteous and polite. Everything is very private you have your own onsen, for your meals you have your own separate sitting area. So you feel as though you have the whole place to yourself. Very beautiful and relaxing place with great views of countryside and ocean. We hope to come again in the future!"

The rooftop onsen was sublime, the bowling alley was an awesome surprise, the hotel was accessible to gorgeous Jogasaki coastline and the views were immaculate. I left refreshed and inspired. "I had a pleasant stay. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the driver was also very courteous. One of the highlights was the complimentary drinks available at most times, including alcoholic beverages. While the building and facilities felt a bit dated, the private baths attached to some rooms were absolutely fantastic. The hotel is surrounded by a spacious property, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that made for a relaxing experience. "

"Current condition of the hotel is much much worse than the photos in the property listing. Aside from the sea view, the property was in poor condition. The outdoor pool of the onsen was nice being able to hear the waves crashing on the shore. Neighborhood is really sad with many boarded up hotels and almost no restaurants. "
