"Gorgeous views from the property. There are two restaurants on the site, one is inside and one outside. The menu is great, and the services is amazing. The outside swimming pool has thermal water which is naturally warm. There is thermal spa on site with another swimming pool inside is case of rainy weather. The hotel is located high above the sea level. If you feel like swimming in the sea, you will need to go down 270 steps and go up 270 steps. The hotel offers shuttle services to Porto/ downtown shopping. Staff is very professional and courteous. A few minor inconveniences: safe in the room didn't work and our room was on the upper floor with 40 steps up the stairs. If you have any difficulties with doing stairs, make sure to call in advance and request a room on a lower level. "

"Hotel was in a great location. Many restaurants within walking distance at the port. Also walking distance from the ferry. Staff were so nice too. Friendly and felt like family. They even came over to say goodbye to us. We will definitely be coming back to ischia. "

"The hotel has several 5 star rating points to it. The staff cannot be more helpful and the rooms are comfortable, well sized. The hotel itself is small enough that the staff get to know you and are as helpful as can be. The negatives- the rooms are not sound proof - so ear plugs are needed and for some reason they charge 2EUR to rent pool towels. I've never been to a hotel where you pay for pool towels. They also don't tell you this when you check in so when you get to the pool, only then are you told, and you have to walk back up to reception. Breakfast as basic but nice, service at breakfast always with a smile. Cocktails round the pool were excellent, very reasonably priced and served quickly. The bar upstairs was also great, we didn't try the restaurant as wanted to venture into town at night which is beautiful."

"We loved our stay and wish we could go back immediately. Beautiful property made of multiple buildings on a hill side. The room was comfortable with good AC and plenty of closet space. The included breakfast was excellent and had a lovely view (I especially appreciated the cappuccino the staff would bring out). Staff was very friendly and nice. We noticed a few ants near our doorway our first morning and the staff immediately took care of it. As other reviewers mentioned, there’s a path that takes you from the hotel into the port, which was very convenient. It is a bit of a climb so we made sure to stock up on water and snacks whenever we went down to explore/for dinner. Two pools, which we used quite a bit, both with gorgeous views. The ocean deck was unfortunately not open when we visited end of May, but there’s a small nearby beach along the path that takes you into town (about a 5-10 min walk) There’s also a bus stop at the top of the property (you can buy tickets from the front desk or at shops around the island), which made it easy to get around. We were able to leave our luggage in the lobby while we explored after check out, which was great. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent stay at Pagoda. The staff are lovely and helpful, hotel is in a great area 5 minute walk to the ferries, and the beach area is gorgeous. Loved ordering a spritz and snacks beachside! Only downside is they don’t have hair conditioner. "
